New and Exciting:

Raku Fired Clay Beads

Raku beads are hand made from stoneware clay. It is a form of Japanese pottery characterized by low firing temperatures, glazes, and the removal of pieces from the kiln while still glowing hot.

Raku is considered the traditional method for creating bowls from earthenware for the Japanese tea ceremony. Over the years, raku techniques have been adopted and modified by contemporary potters worldwide.
