We are The Beaded Giraffe, Bethesda's only bead shop!

Are you a hard-core beader/designer, or are your venturing for the first time into the wonderful, colorful world of beads? (Be warned! Beading is addictive!) Either way, The Beaded Giraffe is your "beading place" in Bethesda. Our friendly, capable staff is available for consultations about color and design, and our classes are a place to learn new and fun techniques with other bead fanatics. Our stock is varied and unique. Hundreds of beads from all over the world await your beading pleasure!

Folks have asked us about the name The Beaded Giraffe. Well, we have collected giraffes for a long time as a reminder of two things. One, giraffes have one of the largest hearts of all mammals, and it's important to be big-hearted. Also, these lovely animals remind us not to be afraid to stick our necks out!
