Q. Where are you located? We are at 4931 Cordell Avenue, in Bethesda, MD. We are located across the street from the Cordell Avenue parking garage, one-half block off of Old Georgetown Road. On weekends, parking is free in the parking garage. Click here to get a map. Q. What are your hours? We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. We close on Sunday and Monday. Q. We are located seven minutes from the Bethesda stop on the D.C. Metro Red Line. Exit toward Old Georgetown Road. We sell strands and loose beads in stones and gemstones, wood, shell, glass, pearls and acrylics. We also carry beading supplies, tools and findings. Q. Do you offer classes? We host parties of all kinds - kid's birthday parties, Scout troop activities, girls' night out, bridal parties... Check out our party policies or call us for more details! Q. What if I'm new to beading? The Beaded Giraffe is a friendly, neighborhood bead gallery. We have community beading tables and can help you with designing and stringing your dream project, even if it's your very first. Q. What if I'm an experienced beader? You will find that The Beaded Giraffe has gathered interesting materials, cuts and sizes at very reasonable prices that will speak to even the most demanding designer. |
