Accent your birthstone necklace with a bracelet and earrings to make a complete set.

Cut a 5 in. (.13m) piece of beading wire. Alternate seed beads and aquamarine beads three times, beginning and ending with a seed bead. Center the beads on the wire.

String an x-shaped spacer, leading each strand through half the x. String a seed bead, an aquamarine and a seed bead on each wire. Then string a disc, a quartz bead, a disc, three seed beads, and a disc over both wires.

Pull the wires tight to align. String a crimp bead and a 4mm soldered jump ring. Go back through the crimp bead and the disc. Tighten the wire, crimp the crimp bead, and trim the excess wire.
Open the earring wire loop. Slide on the jump ring. Close the loop.
Make a second earring to match the first.

bracelet
Determine the finished length for your bracelet and add 5 in. (.13m). Cut two pieces of beading wire to this length. Center a quartz bead on both strands. Add a disc and a seed bead on each side.

On each side of the center beads, separate the strands and string an aquamarine and a seed bead. Repeat a total of four times on each strand.

On each side, string an x-shaped spacer as shown.

String three seed beads on each strand. Over both strands, string one disc, three seed beads, a disc, and a quartz bead. Repeat twice. Repeat step 4 on the other side.

Check the fit and add or remove beads if necessary. String a 3mm round spacer bead, a crimp bead, a round, and the clasp over both wires. Go back through the last beads strung, tighten the wire, crimp the crimp bead (Basic Techniques), and trim the excess wires. Repeat on the other end, using a soldered jump ring or a split ring in place of the clasp.
