Determine the finished length of your
necklace. (Mine is 19 in./48cm.) Add
7 in. (18cm) and cut a piece of beading
wire to that length. Center a 15° seed
bead on the wire and pull both ends
through the focal bead and the round
bead. Pull the 15° into the focal bead
until it is lodged inside. If it goes all the
way through, try a larger seed bead. |
On each end, string: 11° seed bead, two bicone crystals, 11°, petal-shaped
bead, 11°, two bicones, 11°, petal, 11°, two bicones, 11°, leaf-shaped bead. |

On each end, string an 11°, two
bicones, an 11°, and a petal. Repeat
the sequence two or three more times.

On each end, string an 11°, two
bicones, an 11°, and a leaf. |
Repeat the pattern in step 3a on each end until the necklace is within 1 in. (2.5cm)
of the desired length. On one end, string an 11°, two bicones, a crimp bead, and
a jump ring. Go back through the beads just strung. Tighten the wire. Check the fit,
and add or remove beads if necessary. Crimp the crimp bead (Basics) and trim the
excess wire. Repeat on the other end, substituting a clasp for the jump ring. |
